CDIC – Canadian Deposit Insurance Corporation
The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) is a federal Crown corporation
created by Parliament in 1967 to protect your deposits made with member financial
institutions in case of their failure. CDIC is not a bank. CDIC is not a private
insurance company.
- Ensure Financial Services only contracts with member of CDIC financial institutions.
- Deposit insurance is automatic eligible for Canadian dollars deposit at its member institutions.
- All deposits are insured up to $100,000.
CUDIC – Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation
A statutory corporation guarantees all deposits and non-equity shares of British Columbia credit unions
as set out in the Financial Institutions Act.
- All money on deposit and money invested in non-equity shares with a BC credit union, regardless of whether it is
placed directly with the credit union or through a broker, is 100% guaranteed.
Assuris – Insurance for Life Insurance Company
All life insurance companies authorized to sell in Canada are required, by the federal, provincial and
territorial regulators, to become members of Assuris.
- Ensure Financial Services only contracts with Insurance Companies that are members of Assuris.
- Assuris guarantees that you will retain 100% of your Accumulated Value up to $100,000.
